Griffin told her fans that they should come and see her perform before Trump places her in an internment camp.

The comedienne was interviewed for WGN Radio in Chicago on Dec. 31, while in town to perform her comedy show, “My Life on the PTSD-List,” a play on her old Bravo reality show, “My Life on the D-List.”

The 64-year-old joked about the severed head controversy and warned her fans to come and see her, “before I’m in one of those internment camps.”

“I go into some heavy topics,” she said. “It’s been a few — seven years — since my Trump decapitated head photo scandal, where I was on the no-fly list, and the Interpol list, and now he’s gonna be president again, and I’m on the enemies list, so come see me before I’m in one of those internment camps.”

“I have been through the mill,” said Griffin of her new show, “My Life on the PTSD-List.”

Griffin got into hot water after she posed with a fake, severed head covered with ketchup that resembled Trump.

The comedienne knew Trump personally from her appearance on “The Apprentice” and once claimed that smelled “really bad.”

“I’m on the enemies list. That’s very obvious,” she said of Trump. “He was very, very scared when I did a parody photo of him and a Halloween mask and a lot of ketchup. And he brings up my name every chance he gets.”

“At the time, you know, most of us just thought he was kind of a harmless buffoon, but when he says he’s going to build camps for his enemies list, he may not be kidding,” she continued. “So, you know, I’ve got my antenna up, but I’m not going anywhere. I have four doggies. I have a great group of friends. And I love it here.”

Griffin said she was inspired to do the photo shoot after Trump said that journalist Megyn Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” following her interview with him.

Griffin was investigated by the Secret Service for her infamous photo shoot depicting Trump’s severed head.

According to CBS News, she was also fired from her long-time gig with Anderson Cooper hosting the New Year’s Eve special on CNN. Griffin told comedian Jimmy Kimmel back in 2019 that she was on the no-fly list for two months and nearly charged with conspiracy to assassinate Trump.

Griffin was also accused of being a member of the terrorist group ISIS.

“I was on the no-fly list for two months,” she recalled. “Like a terrorist, for two months. Then I was interrogated under oath by two federal agencies — the Secret Service and the Federal Attorney’s Office…. They were considering very seriously charging me with the crime of conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States.”

The former “Suddenly Susan” star says that not only herself but her family members were targeted by Trump supporters after the severed head incident.

Her sister, Joyce, was in hospice dying from cancer at the time, and Griffin said she was hounded until her death with threats “telling her to go to hell.” Her then-97-year-old mother, Maggie, was suffering from dementia at the time and also received death threats from Trump supporters.

“I felt guilty, like I brought this on,” she told PEOPLE. “I didn’t mean to, but I still brought this inadvertently into their lives at such a difficult time, especially my sister.”

Griffin also detailed the experience in her 2019 special, “Kathy Griffin: A Hell of a Story”

“Ya gotta laugh at everything,” she said.
