The G-Unit Founder Took A Swipe At The Roc Nation Boss In A Very Subtle Way
Taking to his X [formerly Twitter] page, 50 Cent shaded Jay-Z in the wake of the rapper becoming embroiled in a lawsuit where he was accused of gang-raping a 13-year-old with Diddy at a party.
Although the producer made no direct mention of the allegations, he jokingly questioned whether the unfolding events might derail the Super Bowl from taking place.
“Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl. I’m just asking for a friend,” the “In Da Club” rapper wrote, pairing his words with a photo of himself sporting an unusual stare.

While it’s unlikely that such allegations against Jay-Z could disrupt the Super Bowl, fans were quick to speculate that 50 Cent might have been alluding to the Super Bowl Halftime Show, where Jay-Z’s Roc Nation collaborates with Apple Music as an entertainment partner.

The Rape Allegations Against Jay Z And Diddy
Several days ago, Jay-Z was named in an amended lawsuit as one of the individuals who raped a 13-year-old at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000, per NBC News.
The original lawsuit identified Jay-Z as “Celebrity A,” with the victim alleging that she encountered the rapper when he, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and an unidentified female celebrity entered a room where she was resting after feeling “woozy and lightheaded” from a drink she had consumed.
In the filing, the victim claimed Jay-Z undressed her and was the first to rape her. She added that once he was done, he held her down to allow Diddy to have his way.
Both attacks allegedly took place in the presence of the unnamed female celebrity, whose identity remains undisclosed.
The victim further revealed that she managed to escape the scene by striking Diddy in the neck when he attempted to force her into performing oral sex on him.
The “Jane Doe” also mentioned that after the assault, she “fell into a deep depression,” which continues to “affect every facet of her life.”

Jay-Z Has Asked The Court To Force His Victim To Reveal Her Identity
In the wake of the rape accusation, Jay-Z released a statement in which he denied the claims and accused the victim and her attorney, Tony Buzbee, of “blackmail” to extort money from him.
More recently, he filed a motion in court requesting the victim to reveal her identity instead of pursuing the case anonymously.
“Fair is fair,” read the docs filed by the Roc Nation founder, per TMZ. “It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the Plaintiff and her counsel to smear [Jay-Z] ‘s good name.”
“Make no mistake this case is about retaliating against the rare target who would not pay,” the rapper’s filing further read.
The Rapper Says He Will Expose His Accuser’s Lawyer For The ‘Fraud’ He Is
In the wake of the rape allegations making headlines, Jay-Z released a statement denying the claims and calling them a “blackmail attempt.”
“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” the Roc Nation founder wrote, referencing a letter the Texas-based attorney had sent to inform the rapper of the accusations.
Jay-Z added, “What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”
