Emily Ratajkowski In Sheer Minidress Asked Why She ‘Bothered’ On NYC Streets

Emily Ratajkowski raised eyebrows with her see-through minidress last summer. Stepping out in NYC, the 33-year-old flaunted her supermodel frame in a totally sheer minidress, going edgy in black boots, but staying safe. Flashing her skimpy underwear beneath her dress, Emily caught the eye with her killer figure on display, although for some, she was showing a little too much. When Just Jared shared the photos in July 2023, users came for Emily, calling her outfit “trashy” and even warning other young women not to go out alone at “night” in a look like this.

Leaving nothing to the imagination as she displayed her high-waisted, thong underwear, the Inamorata founder paired her black bra with her teeny underpants, showing a little cleavage as she smiled. Injecting leather accents from her mean stomping boots, Emily completed her ensemble with a small black purse, also turning heads for her auburn locks.

Rocking a high heel as her thigh-high boots accentuated her Amazonian figure, Emily spent time with a girlfriend in further photos, where the two were seen strolling a sidewalk. In the final slide, the mom of one was seen getting into a car, where it was buns out as her sheer dress exposed her thong-clad rear. “Emily Ratajkowski steps out in sheer mesh dress for a night out with her girlfriends in New York City,” Just Jared wrote.

While the post gained a like from singer Rita Ora, it appeared to also anger fans. “For the young girls who want to dress like this… Just be sure to have security with you all night and even more,” one replied. “I find her beautiful like crazy!!! But why she need to show her body like that? Problem of self-esteem?” another asked.

Also slamming the look was a fan saying: “Why? Why do they all have to dress like that.” Elsewhere, a user even asked EmRata why she had “bothered” wearing any clothes at all. Thinking the look might better be suited to a poolside setting, a further fan sent Emily the thumbs-down by replying:

“Not all women, women have lost respect to themselves and to others dressing g like that in the middle of the day in the city. My opinion just mine, sorry. Very nice girl, a beautiful body, nice getup for pool parties, etc..”

Emily was subject to a similar level of criticism at this year’s Met Gala. Going sheer in her Versace dress, the brunette exposed pretty much everything, something her own Instagram followers turned on her for.
