Prince Harry Is Allegedly ‘Petrified Of Losing’ Meghan Markle, But Might Make Solo UK Return
Prince Harry reportedly plans to return to the UK to secure a home. However, prominent royal expert Hugo Vickers claims that a return home for Harry would happen without his wife, Meghan Markle, who he is “petrified of losing.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship also allegedly faces a “rift” as the former actress feels anxious about her future because her life since quitting her royal role isn’t going as she had envisioned.
Prince Harry, for his part, is currently experiencing heightened scrutiny in the US after being selected as a recipient of the ESPY’s Pat Tillman Award for Service.

Prince Harry Will Allegedly Return To The UK Without Meghan Markle
The couple quit their royal duties in 2020 to live abroad, and they have since had a strained relationship with senior members of the royal family after making bombshell allegations against them.
Due to these incidents, many royal experts believe a return would be nearly impossible.
Amid speculations that Harry and Meghan are seeking a truce with the royal family, expert Hugo Vickers has predicted that the Duke of Sussex will permanently return to the United Kingdom alone.
Vickers, a known royal biographer who co-wrote Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent’s 2022 memoir “A Royal Life,” described Harry as an “angry” person who is “petrified” of losing Meghan but suggested that he would come back home someday without her.

“I think he’ll come home,” he told The Sun. “I think he’ll come home and if he comes home, we must be very nice to him because he won’t particularly want to. He’s quite angry, I think.”

Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry Is ‘Petrified’ Of Losing Meghan Markle
The royal expert went on to discuss the dynamic of Harry’s relationship with his estranged father, King Charles while noting that the duke is “petrified” of losing his wife.
Vickers shared that when Harry eventually comes home like the proverbial prodigal son, Charles will put everything that has happened behind him and welcome the duke back into the royal fold.
“Yes, I do,” he said of Charles welcoming Harry back. “The king has left the door wide open for him to do that, and he was doing such a good job before, and … he looked so happy.”
Vickers continued, “Usually, you’re happy when you’re doing your duty and you’re doing it for other people and you’re putting things into life.”

“If you’re taking things out of life, at the risk of getting a lot of hate mail, I personally think that he looks like he’s petrified of losing her [Meghan] and looks slightly petrified of her,” he added.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Relationship Is Facing A ‘Growing Rift’
Since moving across the pond for a fresh start, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have dabbled into several ventures that have experienced varying degrees of success.
They’ve also faced a lot of public scrutiny and criticism, especially after their recent royal-like trip to Nigeria and Harry’s ESPYs nomination for the Pat Tillman Award.
The widespread disapproval has seemingly gotten to the former “Suits” actress, with royal expert Tom Quinn telling the Mirror that she’s now facing a stark reality check and feels “under siege” as her experiences differ from her expectations. This has also allegedly put pressure on her relationship with Harry.
“There is a growing rift between Harry and Meghan caused by Meghan’s increasing concern that her life is not going in the direction she had planned,” Quinn told the news outlet. “She loves media attention and hates that surveys suggest she and Harry are no longer of much interest to the American public.”
“With news that the couple’s Netflix contract may be under threat, along with the mockery that greeted the launch of her online brand, Meghan feels very much under siege,” he added.

Prince Harry’s ESPY Award Selection Was Met With Backlash
The father of two has been chosen to receive the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for service thanks to his work with the Invictus Games Foundation on Thursday when the ESPYs will be held.
However, the Duke of Sussex has been met with a severe public outcry and calls for ESPN to reconsider its decision.
The war hero’s mother, Mary Tillman, also opposed Harry’s receiving the award, claiming that it should have gone to someone else.
Royal expert Grant Harrold, who worked as a butler to King Charles, told the New York Post that the prince is saddened by the situation and is now mulling over his options.
“It’s interesting that Harry’s nod has ruffled feathers,” Harrold shared. “From my point of view, it’s a bit confusing.”
Prince Harry May Decline ESPY Award
Due to the widespread disapproval of the couple, Harrold also suggests that Harry would likely decline being honored with the Pat Tillman Award for service.
He noted that Harry is “one of the most caring, kindest and most gentle people you could ever meet,” so he’s “feeling quite sad about it.”
“He’d never want to cause any upset,” Harrold said. “If he thinks that it is going to cause upset, then it is quite likely that he could decline the award . . . because he’d never want to cause any upset and it would affect him hearing about the backlash.”
