Demi Lovato Shamed In String Bikini Photos That Lack ‘Dignity’
Demi Lovato was out to conquer her “biggest fear” as she braved totally unedited swimwear shots in 2019, but she only wound up bullied by users online. Stripping down to a tiny animal-print bikini from her luxurious Bora Bora vacation that year, the 31-year-old bravely showed her unfiltered, unedited body, accompanying her post with an empowering caption that broke down Hollywood barriers. When users on The Daily Mail saw the snaps, they hounded Demi, telling her that the photo wasn’t necessary and that she should cover up instead.

The eating disorder warrior continued: “I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited – and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me.”
