According to the Daily Mail, Diaz noted that therapy encourages her and her husband to ask, “Why didn’t it work? How can I make it work? What’s my part? What’s the other person’s work?”

Cameron Diaz Talks Commitment And Career Balance With Benji Madden
During the chat, Diaz explained that when times get challenging, she and Benji emphasize staying committed to their partnership.
“Both people are not 100 percent every day,” she said. “Even if you’re mad at each other and don’t want to see each other, sick of each other, it’s still 100 percent commitment to the marriage and the partnership and getting things in the family. If it’s not 100 percent, it just doesn’t work if one person’s at a deficit.”
The “My Best Friend’s Wedding” star also reflected on balancing their careers as she prepared for her return to the screen in “Back in Action,” set for release in January.
During Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in October, she praised Benji for his support.
