Clark Loves The Chiefs
It could be easy to think that some recent Kansas City Chiefs fans are only cheering for the team because of Swift. However, that’s not the case for Clark.
During an episode of Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, the athlete explained that her love for the Chiefs began at an early age.
According to Clark, her family ties to Kansas made it easy for the Fever star to join the Chiefs’ kingdom.
“People think I’m, like, a bandwagon Chiefs fan,” she said. “I was there before Patrick [Mahomes] and Kelce.”

Clark Snubbed From The 2024 Olympic Team
After a stellar collegiate season, many sports fans expected to see Clark’s name on the Olympic roster for the 2024 Summer Games. However, to the surprise of many, Clark, who was drafted first overall, did not make the team.
Some of the players who did make the team were three-time MVP A’ja Wilson, Diana Taurasi, and Britney Griner.
Clark told reporters at the time that she wasn’t “disappointed,” as she understood “it’s the most competitive team in the world.” Sports commentators, on the other hand, shared different feelings.
“This is about what I will personally label ‘The Idiocy of Team USA Women’s Basketball,'” Stephen A. Smith said. “How dare you make this decision. It’s stupid.”
“It was a stupid decision. Because it compromises what your ultimate goal is, which is to elevate the WNBA brand,” he added. “How could you be that idiotic and not make that call when, throughout history, Team USA has been, in part, about marketing? It’s dumb, period.”
